Ferosity are a Polish death metal band I stumbled upon via their 2018 album “Revelation of Insanity”. The classic riff work of the nineties combining traditional chord progressions with stoic lead harmonies. Ferosity have taken influences from the US school but also from European acts like Vomitory, Sinister or Benediction and mixed some of the best trademark riffs together to create a fresh and dynamic piece of hefty music. The crunchy main chops are often accompanied by some outstanding melodic guitar work to give the music a catchy note despite the relentless heaviness. This is exactly how that kind of music should sound. Beefy guitars, punchy drums with a crystal clear mix and just enough putridity to satisfy fans of old school metal. Recommended for fans of old school death metal.
