Label: Metal Scrap Records – MSR052
Released: 23 February 2013
Style: Death metal
A debut full-length album by a young and talented melodic death metal squad with progressive and thrash influences from Ukraine. This debut album contents 9 tracks. A single titled “Insidious” was released in 2012. Singer Christina (sometimes named Kristina) does a fine job as a grunter, but not much more than that. She also whispers and sings clean more and more as the album advances, but that is not a big contribution to the experience either. The music is pretty well, mostly melodic death metal in mid-tempo, with a modest sound. The lead guitars are very melodic sounding death metal guitar solos and leads that also utilize some progressive elements. The band clearly has a love for thrash from the Sadus days and puts down a fine piece of listening entertainment. Drums range from slow, mid paced to fast drumming with some blast beats being utilized at times, while the bass playing has a very strong and powerful sound with heavy riffing that dominates throughout the recording. Recommended for fans of In Flames, Dream Theatre, Death, Chimaira, Arch Enemy, The Agonist or All I Could Bleed.
